Enjoying what we are doing!

It was Harit*Monica's 8th marriage anniversary. I got a chnace to work with Krishna and comeup with a very innovative menu. Few things went right and and few were on the spot innovation. One of them was Puranpori cake!! Krish and myself had planned a puranpori using date filling. In the process of making, we made the filling before hand to surprise Harit and Monica at midnight. Around midnight when we made the puranpori, the filling was hard, so suddenly we had to make another option for the filling.
There were Gulab Jamun in the fridge. So we made a trial with that. Next was fig filling and then to top it all we made a chocolate cream filling out of chocolate cookies! So we had a variety of puranpoli! All were thrilled seeing the cake and the innovative filling and presentation. Harit Monica cut the cake and we celebrated their anniversary together!
What I liked from the episode was that we enjoyed every moment and celebrate the event! I came to find a new partner in kitchen who in his stay with us during his vacation , made many experiments & added that xing, that youth energy to my passion for cooking for my children. Thanks Krish! We make a great team!
